This is the vlog version of the trip shown in real-time in the last video; I leave Kings Orchard Marina near Lichfield and head north up the Coventry canal to Fradley Junction where it rains a lot and I moor above the locks.

Wonderful to have you back on the water David. Our cruise and work holiday on the Wessex Rose to do Pewsey to Windsor thus completing the full length of the K & A was cancelled due to Covid so it vicarious cruising for now until we see where we are. Perhaps in September we can rebuild and do Oxford to Pewsey. Still very much planning the Warwickshire Ring on our own next June 2021. We are going to take a hire for 28 days to do it.
What a shame but not entirely surprising. Good luck with rescheduling!
We’ve eaten at The Swan after coming up from Sawley and following a day at the Brewery Center in Burton-Upon-Trent. It was for sale when we were there which was four years ago. I remember that The Trent and Mersey was very, very busy in mid-September. I am curious to see whether you are headed for Burton or toward the toilet factory at Armitage.
I have turned left towards Armitage, as you shall see more fully in the next video!
