Vlog 39: Up the Junction
In this video I move from just outside Brinklow up to the end of the Oxford Canal at Hawkesbury Junction, whereupon I shall turn onto the Coventry Canal and go north in the direction of Tamworth. On the way, I see some horses, some ducks, some motorways and some houses. It’s gripping stuff.
The round things are effectively ties holding the sides of the bridge together. You will find a corresponding one on the other side of the bridge. Old houses often have them sometimes shaped like a letter S.

Another brilliant video made all the more delightful because we’ve just passed through there again. Did you get round the junction in one go? We’re currently moored in Ansty, no, not at those horrible keep off places, tempting though it was, wonderful sunset but jolly cold! Keep em coming!
