Real-time canal cruise, Wigram’s Turn to Braunston
This is a real-time recording from the bow camera of my narrowboat as it travelled from Wigram’s Turn to Braunston. There is deliberately no commentary, just the natural sound recorded at the time.

Dear David.
We are avid followers of Cruising the Cut and have been since you started the vlogs.
This real time vlog of your journey from Wigrams Turn to Braunston bought back many happy memories of that route which we have done many times since hiring boats from Napton Narrowboats back in the late 1980’s with both our parents (who are now sadly gone) and our children. Although they were very young at the time they still have enjoyed joining us up until May 2024. This was our last year of boating as age and health problems have now prevented us from the most relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable holidays spent boating on canals and rivers.
Your humour and gentle commentary not only with CtC but Vandemonium plus Twiggy gives us much pleasure and long may may you continue with all of them.
