Could you make a shortish extension that fits between the two sides of the galley to make the bed longer? It would be pretty narrow, though, for shoulders. Hmmm.
If you put your feet in the extension, instead, then one of those heartburn wedge pillows could raise your head and shoulders enough so you don’t sleep, er, downhill.
How about cutting a shower curtain down to sort of line the electrics closet to protect the various boxes from wet coats? Hang it on some conveniently placed cup hooks via its own grommets. A towel in the bottom would absorb the puddle.
Cheers from Virginia!
Cheers Holly. I tried the “feet in the cubby” and it was just too cramped for me (I roll about a lot it seems!). I like the shower curtain in the cupboard idea…
Ooh, sorry, I wasn’t clear enough! I was asking about building an extension platform (12-18 inches, maybe?) in the galley walkway, which would be used in conjunction with the fill-in boards between the lounge seats, then sleeping with your feet between the galley cabinets.
Yes, no, maybe?
Sorry, that was me not reading properly! Yes, that could be a solution :-)
