Vlog 308: Living the Dream

A long-standing viewer offered me and my “canal wife” (aka good friend) Lorna the use of his boat on the upper River Thames for a few days – thanks Ed! – which we were delighted to accept. This is the first of two videos of that trip.

  1. Great video, beautiful countryside and the coolest narrow boat I’ve ever seen…!
    Thanks David….!!!

  2. Nice vlog as per usual David, but, um, still not too sure about the commercial break. It seems a pity to break into a decent vlog. We had 3 weeks along the Thames a couple of years ago on our own narrowboat. Enjoyable but very scary when trying to find somewhere suitable to moor up for the evening. We could have put the sea anchor out and hope for the best but that wasn’t possible having our faithfull old collie on board and needing to have a walk.

    • Hi Barry. If there’s no revenue, it wouldn’t be feasible to produce the videos and income from YouTube itself is not what it once was. I don’t do these integrated ads very often but they do pay the bills and they’re for things I do like. Cheers
