Vlog 229: Sawley Tempted

A short and sweet trip today as I took the boat off the end of the Trent & Mersey canal and moored at Sawley. During the trip, I played chicken with a swan, and tried to hold the boat still in a sideways wind.

  1. Splendid video as per usual David. If i had known you were in the area..(couple of miles away), i would have brought you a flask of tea down & a cheese butty. . .
Definitely was a little breezy… (After effects of too many cheese sandwiches i suppose).
I HAVE searched hivh & low for the illusive ‘Mermaid’.. please let us know if you found any.
Somewhat curious to see all 8 cooling towers belching away at Radcliffe Power Station..!
The kamikaze swan was comical.. but all the gals around here are, well, ballsy shall we say.
    Anyway, pleasant journeys David.
    Kindest regards..

  2. Always enjoy the vlogs. Very relaxing.

  3. Thank you again. Holy smokes, you like trains? And you cracked me up with sharks fins in the River. hehehehe. I needed this today. Having just gone thru Hurricane Sally and loss of my roof which now holds tarp till re-roofed, we find another Hurricane on its way to be here in two days. So this was a very very welcome relief to the day. Thank you. Have an awesome day.
