Another great vlog! The grand tour is turning out to be grand indeed! I was interested to hear you say you liked the widebeams that were in the video. How are they different than widebeam narrowboats that you’ve mentioned, with some derision, in earlier vlogs?
Widebeam narrowboats tend to look just like ordinary narrowboats but stretched sideways. Quite “slabby” in my view. Those other ones are more like Dutch barges, more boaty-looking, prettier, if that makes any sense. Not just a big fat oblong with rounded-off corners!
