Hi David, that’s a nice list of jobs for the forseeable future. As far as the solar panel is concerned, I think I would make brackets off this aluminium strip you’ve got ik the shape of a capital J. Not like the one I typed here, but with a horizontal bar in the top. When you put the arc around the rail and then rivet the straight bit against the side of the solar panel you’d have an easy construction. You might then rivet the brackets to the rails for extra security (theft). Well, that would be my solution, hope it helps you make up your mind. Looking forward to the next video, sincerely, Jobim

To hold your paired doors, how about a length of U channel lined with some felt or cork sheeting to minimize noise and customize the fit? Then you just lay it down over the top edge as you demonstrated.
For the coat hook, how often do you really walk through the passage? If it’s cold enough that you brought a coat to the boat, you’d be putting it on to go outside, right? Alternatively, could you put the hooks on the bulkhead opposite the dining area? (I can’t remember the layout, so coats might be even more in the way on that side.)
For the mounting strips for the solar panel, could you align the the edge of the strip with the outer edge of the rail, then drill a vertical hole through strip and rail for a bolt? (Do aluminum bolts even exist?) Or would it be bad to put holes in the grab rails? Gunge them?
Foe the foldable antenna, what if you just have a simple bracket that the mounting pole slides into, then when necessary (like a low bridge), you simply pull the mounting pole out of the bracket and lay the pole and antenna down? Exactly the way you sometimes had to do with the stovepipe on Wreyland. (Or was that video from someone else’s boat? Or maybe the guy who did bespoke stovepipes?)

Hi Holly. Happy New Year to you too! Yes, I agree about the coat/weather issue and the passageway and have decided on the 2-prong ‘octopus’ coathook, high up on the passagway.
The pole mounting is a good idea however I think I have found the rotating solution, which I will demo in an upcoming video!
Alas, the family matter is not of the type that improves. Such is life.

Clamping which you were querying David. Think along the lines of universal balljoint connections would be my suggestion. Gives you directional versitility. You can get multiple accessories for each end, and would solve your problem. Lots of different types and fittings/materiels to choose from on Amazon.

One word of caution, with the proposed placement of the solar panel, I know that I would eventually damage the panel when storing the push stick after use.
