Vlog 375a: Rush Hour
Part 2 of my trip to bring the narrowboat Gentian down from Lincoln to the East Midlands, here I move it from Newark-upon-Trent to Stoke Lock which is not a million miles away from Nottingham. It was a bank holiday weekend (first weekend in May) and there was a lot of traffic on the river, all of which overtook me with ease!

I like your Dutch barge plan. My Sea Otter 31 is called Little’un. The people I bought her from lived on a massive wide beam called Big’un.
Excellent names!
Hi David,
Glad the re-positioning trips appear to have gone well. Hope you mistake was not a big one! It looks like you’ve stored the cratch in this video. Was this for better visibility or that the weather is better giving being springtime? Or, maybe both? Happy boating!
No, not a big one at all, thankfully. The cratch is explained in the next episode! Cheers.
