Vlog 316: Island in the Streams
I was invited to join Burghfield Island Boat Club on the Kennet & Avon canal at Reading to see what they get up to. It’s a not for profit, member-run organisation that provides moorings and boater facilities as well as a big social environment.

Very interesting David. I wonder if they have ever been flooded out during their time on the island?
I used to belong to a similar club. We were insured while on working parties against accidents etc, I hope these volunteers are as well! Accidents do happen.
