Vlog 280: The Blue Bird of Happiness
A few weeks ago I went past the well-known historic narrowboat “Dover” on the Grand Union Canal but its looks belie its actual interior so I went back for a proper snoop around.

As a BTW in your last vlog I commented we had put our boat up for sale sadly, but age and health problems forced it. We sold it in 3 days!

What a truly interesting vlog this was. I spied two Vespa items, a tin and a bedspread, I wonder if the owner has a Vespa, I nearly bought a new one a few days ago ! I love the cross bed and most everything about this boat, It of course is a lot to handle at over 70 feet, but every inch of it oozes charm and more than a bit of nostalgia. So wonderful to see such a historic work of art and engineering in such good shape, well loved, well cared for.
Haha I did’t even notice the Vespa stuff but I agree, they’re delightful!
