Vlog 228: Feel the Width
I continue east along the Trent & Mersey canal from Willington, re-discovering that from that point it’s a wide canal and that means sharing (wide) locks with other narrowboaters. Video also features two dogs, a horse, some strange noises and a little bit of calm.

Having survived Hurricane Sally, in Alabama 2 weeks ago, I just wanted to say, thank you for your vlog. Once we got power back, the only way to relax after hauling debris to the curb and dealing with insurance/roofers/disaster relief, etc. was to watch your video’s. Kept and is keeping me sane and I imagine will continue to do so, while it will take months to get things back to normal. Thanks.
Crikey, Jill, that sounds most horrific – we have no understanding of that kind of devastation over here. I can only begin to imagine the trauma and I’m glad the videos have helped in some small way. Best wishes.
