It’s not really a vlog because in this episode I’m just re-tracing my steps from the prior five cruising videos and didn’t really film as usual but I compiled this selection of clips to illustrate Stuff Of Interest – mostly to do with how amazingly busy the canals got after July 4th when lockdown restrictions were eased and people could use their boats again.

David, How many narrow boats are there? Total number and boats per mile? These vl;ogs are keeping me semi-sane through the lockdowns. Locks and lockdowns, we are going down the Johnson flight now (Dec2020) Keep going David the nation needs you!
No idea of boats-per mile but there are, I believe, about 35,000 registered boats on CRT waters (not necessarily narrowboats, that’s all registered boats). Doesn’t incude those registered on EA waters (Nene, Thames etc) which I have no idea about numbers of.
I enjoy your videos but I would never have your patience….and this video supports my view…….But continue with the videos and I will continue to enjoy them. Cheers.
