This was a nice balance to your whizz around video, which was also fun.
I do like the reverse layout. Neat to see they’re becoming more popular. Much nicer than having people stomping through your bedroom.
Have you known any narrowboaters who have converted a narrowboat from bedroom at the back to a reverse layout?
I was wondering whether those slimline flexible solar panels could be an alternative to what is on Twiggy? Hmm all $$ (££) of course!

Thank you. I think a complete reversal of layout would be such a massive undertaking that it would only be feasible on a full project restoration where you’re going to rip everything out anyway. As for Twiggy, it just doesn’t have the deck space for panels really, it’s got so few flat surfaces!
Absolutely loved this review of new boats David. The first you showed was my favorite ! I only wished purchase prices were included. Thanks so much for this one, I do appreciate the effort which goes into making these.
Prices totally depend on what the customer specifies so it’s hard to say but you’re looking at between £150k – £200k ish.
