Vlog 227: Carrots
In another tense, nail-biting episode, I cruise further east along the Trent & Mersey canal on my narrowboat, through Burton-on-Trent and up to Willington. This involves the lockside purchase of some carrots.

Thank you for another enjoyable interlude. Heartfelt thanks for allowing us to hear nature as we see it.
I am glad you enjoy it :-)
Thanks again for the memories. I remember taking on water at that pull in and back out facilities point. We were not so lucky with the adjacent mooring being empty. We spent a day at Burton and did the Brewery Center and Museum. On a beastly hot day. The walk back to the boat after the sample pint that comes with the entry fee was a bit unsteady. Burton is quite the place.
It’s a rather tricky services point, especially if coming from the other direction, I think!
