Vlog 226: Alre…what?
Back cruising again, quickly before a) winter and b) another lockdown. I headed back up to Fradley Junction and turn east onto the Trent & Mersey canal, going through Alrewas and onto Barton Turns marina.

Hi David, Thank you for your super videos. Wikipedia offers: Alrewas (awl-ree-was). Regards, Tony.
Cheers Tony!
THANKS DAVID, ALWAYS INTERESTING AND I LOVE THE SCENERY.
Cheers Jim
At last! After vlog 225 I was going through severe withdrawal after having spent 6 weeks binge watching Prime, vandemonium and this blog. Extremely enjoyable and educational! Thank you!!!!! Happy travels from beautiful central Kentucky where the Appalachian foothills meet the bluegrass.
PS My original comment was rather eloquent but the computer destroyed it. Such is life. Keep doing what you do do well!
Bah, I hate it when the computer does that! Your subsequent comment is plenty sufficient and I’m so pleased you enjoy all the videos. Cheers, David
A smashing little vlog David.
That was certainly a ‘tad expensive’ for the coal briquettes. .
I don’t particularly agree with the additional mark-up on the price of any goods .. Just for the supposed convenience.
One should pay for the value of the actual goods only.. (implied or otherwise)
Trent was looking calm for a change.. , instead of the angry , tempestuous rebel entity it can be & usually is.
Going off on a slight tangent, it would not surprise me in the slightest if the “Wreyland” could now actually be seen from space with the naked eye.. ;-)
Pleasant journeys David.
Kindest regards,
Daren
Cheers. I do disagree with you about convenience though; it is a thing of value to me so I can understand a charge, plus they maintain a visitor mooring outside which is handy and most marinas do not. As a normal bag of coal is around £11, a bit more was OK (but had it been a lot more, I would not have bought)
