Vlog 94: Getting Stoned
Continuing my journey up the Trent & Mersey canal, this time I go through Stone in Stafforshire and its assorted locks before arriving at Barlaston for the night ahead of the trip through Stoke on Trent the next day.

I think the village before Stone was Weston, not Weston-on-Trent. The canal passes the latter earlier in your journey but doesn’t go through it. Apologies if I’m wrong. Working my way through all your vlogs, excellent.
Glad you like them, cheers
Brilliant as always, especially the high speed bits! “Stoned” is not that original. We like Stone. One of our favourite places. Big farmers market 1st Saturday, good pubs and the dog can swim in the nearby Trent. That Neil Morrisey pub was rather good, both for food and beer plus it had oodles of memorabilia of him and Martin Clunes etc. Who remembers Boon? Great trip! Looking forward to the Scarecastle tunnel, also,at high speed!? Cheers.
